ClickBank - The most popular affiliate site - easy to use, easy to sell. Sells digital products, like PDF ebooks or signing up for a website. Good and bad products here. Most products are one-shot deals and not recurring, but the commission is high, sometimes 50-75%.


Commission Junction - Sells everything. Advertiser must accept you. Need some basic HTML knowledge for copying and pasting HTML code to make ads or banners. Commission is not as high as ClickBank, but has more varied products.


Amazon - Very low commission rate at first, but is a respected and trusted name, and an online leader in sales. They offer decent modules for your websites, but it will take you years to generate big-time money with Amazon especially since they no longer allow for associates to use their links in PPC campaigns.
